She had thoughts of ending her life, and her husband stepped in and took her in to see a doctor. I have a friend who recently started take a depression medication. She is much better now, and she says the depression medication has cut out on the dangerous lows that she was feeling. She wants to live her life, not worry about how she is feeling all of the time.
